This project gave me the opportunity to focus on digital sketching as the main medium of communication.

In order to capture the true elegance of a koi fish, I chose to abstract the form into five basic gesture lines.

From there I developed the shoes overall form through an iterative process of sketching.

I then refined the form, features, and details.
