Most lamps only serve one purpose. When they are not in use they have little value.

The goal was to create a lamp that had value as a lamp as well as something else when it is not in active use.

With the addition of a clock mechanism, a once partially used object becomes something the user can passively use all day.

A functioning prototype was created with some slight variations to scale and proportions.
